The Saint Paul Vocal Forum is dedicated to exploring important societal topics through vocal music. We differ from other choral organizations in our intent to produce “choral forums” on topics which are “discussed” through music, text and poetry that is designed to give focus and depth to the overall presentation.
Artistic DirectorctorDavid Ryan Moberg holds a BA degree from Saint Olaf College in Vocal Music Education, and a MM in Choral Conducting from the University of Minnesota. Mr. Moberg has held positions as vocal music director at Byron (MN) High School, Minnehaha Academy in Minneapolis, and Rochester Community College. He has also worked as director of church music activities for 15 years for various churches in the Twin Cities. Mr. Moberg was section leader with the National Lutheran Choir and the Dale Warland Singers. He has directed and performed in Broadway musicals and sings occasionally with the folk trio, Three Men & a Banjo.
